Disappointing Experiences
Several reviewers have had negative experiences with Acorn Recruitment, citing issues with communication, professionalism, and payment. Author J. Lo had a good experience while working with Donna Chaney, but was disappointed when the agency failed to provide a reference, almost costing them a new job. Stu Kelso had a terrible experience with Jon and Anna, who were unresponsive and rude, resulting in mistakes with his pay.
Author Gordon Mahamat felt that the agency was just out to make money and was not interested in helping people find work. Dagmara Szejbach had a similar experience, feeling that she was not being paid for her work and that the agency was unresponsive. Unhelpful and Disappointing
Some reviewers felt that the agency was unhelpful and did not deliver on its promises. Author Andrew David felt that the agency did not contact him for work after four months. Author David Greenwood was not given a reason why his mate was sent on a job but he was not. Sam B. found that the agency did not do the searching for job vacancies and instead told him to search online himself.
